I´m usually suspicious of slimming pills, but Zotrim is different. It makes no claims to burn fat, stimulate metabolism or prevent absorption of food. Its action is simple - it increases the time needed for the stomach to empty and makes you feel fuller sooner, for longer. The pills contain three South American herbs: Guarana, Yerba Mate and Damiana. These are all used by rainforest tribes to prevent hunger and boost energy. ‘Rebecca´s diet is now pretty good. She´s continued the habit of eating less, and apart from taking a simple calcium/vitamin D supplement and a couple of portions of oily fish a week, she shouldn´t change a thing.´

ZOTRIM launched last year
“Zotrim is a supplement which works by slowing the rate at which the stomach empties, keeping you fuller for longer. It´s the only clinically proven herbal slimming aid. Take two tablets before meals to significantly reduce the amount of food you eat. It is especially good for kick-starting diet plans when you are relearning how to deal with hunger and smaller serving sizes.”

Can slimming aids work?
“...it may have a role in re-training you to eat less and provide support at the beginning of a diet when people find it difficult adjusting to eating smaller portions. It could also provide a valuable tool in preventing overeating after a diet.”
Observer Magazine, 30th Sept 2001
Shock tactics
“It has been reported that Zotrim reduces the rate at which the stomach is emptied, which means that the longer your food remains in your stomach, the longer you will feel full and the less tempted you will be to eat. Don´t fall into the trap of thinking that this herbal preparation has magical properties, however: the only reason that it may help you to lose weight is because it will prevent your efforts to slim being sabotaged by hunger pangs. Zotrim is simply a substitute for willpower - and you should still eat properly and exercise regularly.”
Now Magazine, 19th Sept 2001
Science backs slimming herbs
