How to use the Gi Patch
Place the patch on your hand or wrist, or anywhere you can smell the sweet orchid patch,
do not use body lotion on the area and avoid bath oils, which may prevent the patch sticking.
In the summer you can tuck it inside you neckline, as long as you can smell the aroma from the patch.
How the Gi Patch can help
The object of the Gi diet is to satisfy our hunger with foods that can digest slowly,
thus feeling satisfied for longer. When we embark on this very sensible eating plan we miss
the "quick highs" that refined foods give us. It is hard to get used to the more satisfied
sensation of the GI Diet and people often fail on the diet by craving these "highs".
The patches help you resist these cravings by giving you a seratonin boost and a satisfied sensation.
You may not need the patches for long, just long enough to get started on your GI Diet regime.
How the Gi Patch can help
Glycaemic index is a method of measuring blood sugar levels with respect to carbohydrate consumption.
It not only measures how much blood sugar level increases but also
how quickly. foods containing carbohydrates are measured on a scale of 1-100, giving give each food its own GI value.
Foods with high GI are those that fill you up quickly, give a fast burst of energy but then leave you feeling hungry and lethargic a
short time later. These includes cakes, biscuits and chocolate and the same foods that many nutritionists regard as empty calories.
The GI is an important tool used in treating people for weight loss. Because the food with a low GI makes you feel fuller and satisfied for longer you are less likely to overeat.
Please read the Gi diet patch packaging before use.
Seek professional advice before using if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or suffer from allergies.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you suffer from an underlying medical condition (for example, diabetes, epilepsy),
or if you are taking any other medication or complementary therapy.
Gi diet patch is not intended to treat or prevent any disease.
